Winter is here and while we don’t experience much of a temperature drop here in Florida, for some, winter means more time keeping warm indoors. This provides a wonderful opportunity to engage in fun indoor learning activities with your little ones.
Some of my favorite indoor winter learning activities include reading picture books about winter and snow, making fake snow for sensory play, and playing card games.
Today I am sharing fun winter-themed matching cards.

I put together this adorable winter matching game printable for you to use this winter. The cards feature graphics of things related to the winter season like a snowman, snowflake, and sweater.
How to Use Winter-Themed Matching Cards
First, print the cards onto quality card stock.
It is important that you print the cards onto a paper that is thick enough that the graphic will not show through on the back of the paper. Next, cut out the cards.
Use a laminating machine and laminating sheets to laminate the cards for durability and the cards are ready for use. I use small binder clips to keep our matching card games neatly together.
