Lately, my littlest kid has been interested in identifying the beginning letter sound of different words. Because of that, I decided to put together a printable activity that would allow him to practice identifying beginning letter sounds. I am sharing that fun beginning sound worksheet with you today!
There are two versions of the worksheet. The first one is in alphabetical order while the second page is scrambled. You only need to print the worksheet and laminate it for durability.
Grab your favorite alphabet letter manipulatives to complete this activity. You can use your moveable alphabet, magnetic letters, wooden letters, foam letters or whatever you have on hand. You could even skip using any tactile letters and simply have the child name each object and call out the letter that makes the first sound of the item pictured on the worksheet.
