While this is by no means an exhaustive list of good places to eat in Atlanta, I do hope you can find this useful. The Big Peach is full of great restaurants and I could go on and on about food in Atlanta, but I’ll spare you. Instead, here are just 3 of our favorite places to eat in Atlanta.
When we are in the city we’ll eat at these places multiple times. One of the restaurants on the list has been serving southern comforts for over 45 years, another serves the best Georgia Benedict around, and the other serves tasty biscuits and lots of southern charm.
West Egg Cafe
If you’re gonna do brunch you must do it well. I am usually not impressed with breakfast foods that I haven’t whipped up myself; however, West Egg Cafe really impressed me. Here, the food is fresh and delicious! This place draws a diverse crowd and there is no wonder why. In the video below, Atlanta’s own Chef G. Garvin names West Egg Cafe as one of Atlanta’s top picks. Callie’s Hot Little Biscuits
Callie’s Hot Little Biscuits is packed with southern charm. The taste and quality of their biscuits are what makes them one of our favorite places to eat in Atlanta. Callie’s Hot Little Biscuits has a fun menu with items like a shortcake biscuit and a peach filled biscuit. Find out more about Callie’s Hot Little Biscuits HERE.
Callie’s Hot Little Biscuits is located at 1004 Virginia Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30306
Mary Mac’s Tea Room (Atlanta’s Dining Room)
Mary Mac’s Tearoom has been around since 1945. Come here for your favorite comfort foods made from scratch and lots of southern hospitality. The restaurant is always booming so pack your patience as parking can be a bit of a hassle. If you appreciate southern flare, you will enjoy Mary Mac’s. In my opinion, they serve the best fried chicken and they are consistent. Learn more about Mary Mac’s Tea Room HERE.
