Heart Craft Using Magic Nuudles
This heart craft is made using Magic Nuudles. Magic Nuudles are one of my favorite preschool craft supplies to keep on hand.
My children always enjoy working with them and so do I. I usually purchase multiple packs of them using coupons at Joann Fabric and Crafts. They can also be purchased on Amazon.
The Magic Nuudles only come in packs of multiple colors (bummer) and not packs of one individual color. With that in mind, it could get a bit pricey to buy enough packs for a large group of children to create pink or red hearts. You will want to have children make multi-colored hearts if you are doing this with a group of students.
Preschool Heart Craft Supplies
- Cardstock
- MagicNuudles
- Water
- Shallow Dish
- Sponge or Washcloth
- Scissors (optional)
Easy Preschool Heart Craft Instructions
- Print the free heart template below.
- Place wet sponge or washcloth in a small shallow dish.
- (Optional) cut Magic Nuudles through the center to make them thinner and double the number of Magic Nuudles.
- Students should tap the Magic Nuudle on the wet sponge or washcloth to moisten it then press the Magic Nuudle on the heart template.
- Continue step 4 until the entire heat template is covered.
- Cut out the completed heart-shape.
Children should be careful not to saturate Magic Nuddles in water. Very little water is needed to make the Magic Nuudle tacky enough to stick to the paper. Children will exercise fine motor skills as they use their fingers to contour the Magic Nuudles to the shape of the heart.
