Looking for a fun activity to do with children this fall? Use this FREE Fall Scavenger hunt to get out and explore nature.
Scavenger hunts are an excellent activity for kids, particularly during fall when the weather is nice and there are plenty of outdoor treasures to discover.
With unique objects to search for, such as pine cones, acorns, and colorful fall foliage, fall is the perfect time to get out, experience, and discuss the change of seasons with your little ones.
Because I live in South Florida, where the weather is always warm, the thought of cooler weather and colored leaves excites me!
Although we don’t get to experience all the wonders of fall down here, the season change does bring relief from the mosquitoes and harsh humidity we get most of the year.

Remember to provide a clipboard and marker for your child to mark off each item as they locate it.
I also like to give clues and set a time limit when my kids do outdoor scavenger hunts. My little ones love to complete tasks when they know I have the timer going.
Kids find so much excitement in racing against the clock or competing with others to see who can tick off all the items on their lists first.
Use this scavenger hunt to add a little adventure to your next nature study, day at the park, or playdate.
If your kids are anything like mine, they will enjoy checking off the list and the thrill of discovering the listed items.
