Bienvenidos a Miami! Today I am sharing a short recap of our weekend in Miami. We visited the beautiful city to celebrate my birthday. Because we had such a nice time, I want to share where we stayed and dined. If you are looking for an extensive list of family-friendly things to do in Miami you will have to check back soon for all of my suggestions.

Because Four Seasons has become our favorite, we stayed at the Four Seasons Miami Beach. As expected, everything was lovely. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay extra special being that it was my Birthday. In fact, we spent a good portion of our weekend on the hotel grounds.

We experienced some of the services offered by the hotel’s Equinox Spa. We also spent time lounging in the hammock over the pool area.

Where to Dine

For lunch, we decided to try The Edge Steak & Bar. That turned out to be a great choice as the food was amazing. Because the restaurant is located on the 7th floor of the Four Seasons, it has a posh rooftop patio area for guests to enjoy.

We toured the beautiful Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. The museum is stunning and presents tons of photo opportunities.

We brunched at Bird and Bone. The restaurant is located in The Confidant Miami Beach and sits right on the beach. They serve a delicious chicken and waffles and the best cheddar biscuits.

After brunch at Bird and Bone, we walked the beach. It was the perfect day for a beach stroll. The weather was just right.

Our day ended with dinner at Barton G. The restaurant is known for over the top presentations. Watch the video below to see how things are done at Barton G.
